Natural themes with a contemporary twist give Lori's art wares a very distinctive look. The inspiration comes from the faith and spirit that her Grandmother embodied. As a child she learned through her that creating things nurtures your soul, connects you to God, the creator, and brings joy to others. Because her grandmother, she name her company, Lucina K, after her in a tribute to the creativity she lived.
Each of Lori's pieces begin by making a small sculpture in wax. Using the ancient method of lost wax casting, the pieces are faithfully reproduced to the finest of detail; bringing to life the wax sculpture in the brilliance of Silver, the metal of the ages, or in tarnish free pewter.
