aloha - girl's night out

All the ladies had a lovely time at our recent girl's night out event.  We served up fancy fruit kabobs, enjoyed live music by Jon Ketchum and passed out leis (most of the lady's had a good laugh when we asked them if they'd like a lei - oh...our frisky customers!

Women of all ages strolled through the shop.  To my surprise, one of the teens requested Jon to play Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi. (That was released when I was in middle school!)

I couldn't resist asking these young Bon Jovi fans to pose next to our hipster musician.

Here's a little snippet of Jon playing 'My Girl'.  I was really impressed with his musical talents. He is only seventeen and is already performing at local Coffee Beaneries and other events like graduation open houses.  It takes a lot of moxie to perform solo for THREE hours.  I admire people like Jon...Maybe someday we'll be able to say "We knew him when..."
